Discover Bebabel, a delicious dining option at the Dubai Mall overlooking the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and the dancing Dubai Fountain.
THE BEBABEL RESTAURANT
Bebabel is a subsidiary of Babel Restaurants, a chain of Lebanese cuisine restaurants known for their cozy atmosphere, excellent hospitality and culinary delights. Babel's dining experience offers Lebanese food lovers a contemporary interpretation of Lebanese cuisine using the finest ingredients possible. Sandstone walls and arches, combined with large seating areas, combine to create a cozy atmosphere. Bebabel is the “casual chic” version of Babel. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in Dubai and one of the largest in the world.
Specializing in Lebanese food, the Bebabel restaurant offers a variety of dishes from breakfast to dinner. Among the most delicious options are soups, salads, various types of delicious mezzes with various types of hummus, various pastinhas and various pestiscos, tarha (a dough that resembles a long pizza), as well as complete dishes.
THE DUBAI FOUNTAIN
In addition to the huge lounge, the Bebabel has a large outdoor area with stunning views of the Dubai Fountain, on the left, and the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, on the right. Opened in 2009, Dubai Fountain is a choreographed fountain system located on the artificial lake at Dubai Mall. The fountain is illuminated by 6,600 lights and 50 colored projectors, is 275 meters long and has water jets that reach up to 152 meters in height. The fountain is animated with light and music performances (classical, contemporary Arabic and world music). Performances run from 5:45 pm to 10:45 pm.
OUR EXPERIENCE AT BEBABEL RESTAURANT
When we were planning our Dubai itinerary, we looked for a restaurant where we could have dinner and, at the same time, watch the Dubai Fountain water and light show. In addition to not costing a kidney, we wanted a place that had options without any animal origin, since we are vegans. Our favorite cuisine is Arabic/Lebanese/Mediterranean and when we found Bebabel it was a pleasant surprise! Combining fair prices and delicious food, it couldn't go wrong! the baby does not accept reservations and, therefore, if you want a good spot on the balcony to be able to watch the fountain show and see the Burj Khalifa (which also offers a light show, projections and music at night) you must arrive before 7pm. After that, the chance that the best tables are already occupied is high.
We were hungry after a full day of activities and ordered a lot of good food! As a courtesy, we were served rectangular buns with a seasoned tomato sauce. We ordered a delicious mezze with two types of hummus and grilled eggplant accompanied by warm and fluffy buns. In addition, we ordered a generous portion of board well seasoned. To complement, we also ask for a Tarha de zaatar with diced tomatoes and fresh spices.
We loved the experience and would have returned to the restaurant on other occasions if we had more time. The food was delicious, the restaurant's atmosphere is wonderful, the service is excellent and the show of lights, projections and water from the Dubain Fountain and the Burj Khalifa made the experience spectacular! There's no way not to like combining all this with nice prices that fit in your pocket. We highly recommend a delicious meal at Bebabel.
