Are you looking for a practical, fast, cheap restaurant tip, with tasty dishes, well served and a relaxed atmosphere? Check out our restaurant tip in San Francisco and the Crepevine region, a great place to taste delicious crepes!
SAN FRANCISCO & REGION: DELICIOUS CREPES AT CREPEVINE
When we moved to California, one of the restaurants that became something of a wild card for us was Crepevine. With 10 units across the San Francisco Bay Area (including 2 in the city of San Francisco itself). Crepevine brought together a lot of what we were looking for to have a quick, delicious, healthy meal that wasn't too expensive. Of the 10 units, we've already eaten in at least 4 (and more than once!). And how does Crepevine work?
You arrive and go straight to the cashier to place your order. Take advantage of the queue to see the various menu options (either printed or the colorful menu on chalkboards on the wall) that include delicious savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, breakfast options (omelets, pancakes, french toasts), salads and many more. other items. Once the order is finished, you pay at the cashier and get a plate with the order number to leave on the table. When everything is ready, an employee will bring the dish to you.
The menu is quite diverse, but what we really recommend is to order the savory crepe. The crepe is huge and has several filling options (Ana’s favorite is “San Francisco”, which has salmon, capers and onions; and Paulo’s is “Milano”, which is a vegetarian option with aubergine filling, sun-dried tomato, spinach and mushroom).

In addition to the huge crepe, the dish comes with a green salad and potatoes (fried or baked). You can have a super well served, healthy and delicious meal at this restaurant! In addition to everything, one of the main points of Crepevine is the agility in service. It's very rare to have to wait a long time to eat (unless the lines are long – and we've already taken the crowded restaurant and even then we were served quickly).
Many of the units have tables outside, making them great options both for those traveling with their pet and for enjoying the sunny days of California. After eating a dish like this and still having room for dessert, order a sweet crepe! When we're really hungry, we manage to share a delicious crepe. Our favorite is the “Alba” which has strawberries, bananas, nutella and chocolate sauce! Can you resist?
