3 RESTAURANT TIPS IN RAILAY BEACH
We've put all the tips suggested in this post on the interactive map below to help you better locate the aforementioned options. Here are 3 delicious tips for places to eat in Railay Beach (and a bonus at the end).
1. MANGROVE RESTAURANT
Mangrove Restaurant is an affordable restaurant with a wide variety of options. With a thatched roof, it has a laid-back atmosphere, budget-friendly prices and a menu packed with seafood options, plenty of Thai and even vegetarian and vegan options. It is located on Railay Walking Street, the alley between Railay West and Railay East full of restaurants and shops. The Mangrove Restaurant is open daily from 8 am to midnight.
2. RAITALAY TERRACE
It is one of the restaurants of the incredible 5-star hotel Rayavadee. The restaurant is delicious, with beautiful decor and a wonderful view of Railay Beach. It is very convenient for guests to be right next to the hotel's infinity pool. Those who are not guests can also enjoy their tasty dishes. Raitalay offers international and Thai dishes for lunch and dinner and has vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. It is open daily from 11 am to 11 pm. As it is located inside a 5-star hotel, prices tend to be higher when compared to restaurants in the rest of Railay.
3. THE SUNSET RESTAURANT
This is the restaurant Sand Sea Resort, one of the premier resorts in the area, which faces Railay Beach. The restaurant serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, international options and Thai dishes. The restaurant is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm
BONUS: JENNA'S BISTRO & WINE
Jenna's Bistro & Wine on Railay Beach, but on the Ao Nang beach. It is a good option for those staying in Ao Nang and taking trips to Railay Beach and surrounding islands. The restaurant offers a choice of international and Asian dishes on the menu. We arrived on a day when there was very nice live music and we were served by a super friendly waitress. We explained to her that we were vegans and she made suggestions on the menu and asked the kitchen to make some changes to our dishes so they didn't have anything of animal origin. We ended up ordering a garlic and oil pasta with spinach which was very good.
