Founded in 1993 by Ann Gentry, one of the pioneers in the world of vegan cuisine, Real Food Daily is a chain of restaurants serving vegan and organic dishes offering a creative, quality and nutritionally balanced menu. The organic plant-based 100% menu is inspired by Southern California trends, combining plant-based foods with seasonal organic cuisine. The restaurant has an extensive range of organic, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and nut-free dishes, catering to all kinds of dietary limitations and preferences.
REAL FOOD DAILY UNITS
Currently, Real Food Daily can be found in 3 locations: in the neighborhood of West Hollywood, at the Los Angeles Airport (LAX) and in the city of pasadena. There was another unit located in Santa Monica, but it closed in 2016. Each of the units has specific menus. all units offer an extensive main menu and a brunch menu Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
The main menu is super complete with several breakfast options, starters, soups, salads, hamburgers, sandwiches, hot Italian and Mexican dishes, pizzas and calzones and colorful bowls of vegetables and desserts. The brunch menu features pancakes, waffles, “eggs” and various hot dishes.

OUR EXPERIENCE AT REAL FOOD DAILY
we know the west hollywood drive at lunch time and we had an excellent experience. We made a reservation before going, but it wouldn't be necessary because there were several tables available even though it was a weekend. Only vegans know how nice it is to go to a restaurant with a huge menu and know that we don't have to worry about asking questions if it has any ingredients of animal origin. And Real Food Daily is exactly like that! As Paulo is super suspicious, even though I guaranteed that the restaurant was 100% plant-based, of course he confirmed with the waiter everything we were thinking of ordering. And the waiter, super friendly, took all our doubts.
We were very hungry because it was almost 2pm and we had had breakfast very early. And at those times, you know, we order a lot of food! To start, we ask for the Mediterranean Bowl, a huge bowl of salad for us to share which was divine! The salad had arugula and mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, quinoa, white beans, avocado, cucumber, olives, vegan feta cheese (made from almonds), zaatar vinaigrette and grilled roll. Seriously, I would just eat that bowl alone just fine!
But when we are hungry, we end up asking for more food than we need. And we ordered two plates of Penne Alfredo, a wonderful penne with spinach, grilled mushrooms, white cream made from cashews, shredded vegan parmesan and tempeh bacon. What was great about the dish was also delicious! A fantastic, creamy and tasty pasta!

It's worth 1 million times! We love everything about Real Food Daily. The service, the atmosphere, the amazing food with excellent sized portions and decent prices. We would come back again and again to this restaurant because we had an experience that was truly worth every calorie.
