Although there are many ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe region and nearby towns, we chose to visit the ski resort Heavenly Mountain which is located in the city of South Lake Tahoe for a very simple reason: the unbelievable view of the lake from the observation deck. Even if you don't intend to do any activity like skiing or snowboarding, the view of Lake Tahoe alone is worth the trip.

In Heavenly Village, a very friendly place with shops, restaurants and many activities for children, there is a place where you can buy a ticket just for the gondola or to do the seasonal activities that include taking the cable car up the mountain to ski. We went to see the station on the last day it was open in the 2014-2015 season. Many lanes were already closed because the snow was melting.
THE HEAVENLY MOUNTAIN SKI STATION

And who doesn't like to play in the snow, right?

Hey ,
I'm going to Lake Tahoe in December.
Is it possible to buy the gondola pass before going?
And the pass to climb the mountain, only 1 day, can we buy it on any website?
Thanks
Adriana
Hi, Adriana! How cool that you're heading to Lake Tahoe in December. The place is amazing!
At the official site station sells yes. However, they are still only selling season tickets. I believe that when the 2018-19 season is about to start, tickets will only be available for the gondola. Keep an eye on the official website closer to your travel date.
Hugs 🙂
