Colorado: New Year's Eve Supper in Aspen

Planning to spend the end of the year in Aspen? We already spent a New Year's Eve in town, but we didn't want to spend a fortune on New Year's Eve dinner. Until we found a good option that was within the budget. Check out this New Year's Eve supper tip in Aspen.

COLORADO: NEW YEAR'S SUPPER TIP IN ASPEN

Everyone knows Aspen is not a cheap city. One of the favorite resorts of the rich and celebrities can't be cheap, can it? And we were looking for a place to eat well, but not start the year by leaving your wallet at the restaurant. That's how we found the restaurant Trecento Quindici Dean which is inside the hotel The St. Regis Aspen Resort, a fantastic 5 star super famous hotel in the city. We weren't staying there, but at another hotel also in downtown Aspen (Colorado: Aspen Accommodation Tip), which allowed us to walk to the restaurant. The thermal sensation was almost -30ºC, but the walk took about 10 minutes, which was quite tolerable for us.

Trecento Quindici Decano is an excellent Italian restaurant serving tasty and varied dishes. At the end of the year, the restaurant makes a special menu for the New Year's dinner, with all-you-can-eat food, desserts and a glass of champagne included. The price per person is fixed and you can eat all you want.

The table is huge and has many options for all tastes: huge salad table, pasta, meat (fish, chicken, red meat, shrimp). In addition to all this, we still won gifts to celebrate the date such as a top hat, trumpets and a tiara with the phrase “Happy New Year” (Happy New Year).

Dinner at the restaurant ended around 11pm and we took the opportunity to wait for midnight. Right there in the center of Aspen, there is a fireworks display, very beautiful, full of colors. The streets are all decorated with lights, giving it a very beautiful appearance. It looks like a movie! We left the restaurant and went directly to the street to wait for the fireworks. It didn't take long for the sky over Aspen to be all lit up!
