Discover Vícios à Mesa – Mau Hábitos, a different place that mixes culture, music and good food in the center of Porto, Portugal.
WHAT IS BAD HABITS
On the fourth floor of an old parking lot in front of the theater Porto Coliseum, is the Bad habits, a Cultural Intervention Space that works as an artistic refuge. It hosts a beautiful cultural agenda with temporary exhibitions and imaginative installations, contemporary artistic practices, plus performances by live bands and DJs. Inside the space, there is also a super relaxed Italian food restaurant. Combining music, art, food, drink and parties, this space is a meeting place for diverse audiences, reflecting creative freedom.

ADVISORY RESTAURANT AT THE TABLE
As we mentioned earlier, the restaurant is located on the fourth floor and access is via elevator or stairs. This super relaxed restaurant with modern decor, dog friendly and with free wifi, has a menu tasty, full of options for starters, pizzas, calzones, pasta, soups, salads, hot dishes, desserts, in addition to a good wine and drinks list. There are several vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The restaurant also offers options for brunch. I recommend doing advance reservation because the space is disputed and you will be able to guarantee a nice table.

OUR EXPERIENCE IN TABLE ADDICTIONS
Initially, we didn't put much faith when we entered the building because of the sloppy look and even graffiti on the walls. But, after that first impression, we arrived at the restaurant and were very well received by the staff. We had already made a reservation and our table was next to the window, which was very nice, as we had a view of the city. We've already been there organized to eat vegan pizzas and ended up not even looking at the other options on the menu, which are many and organized in a menu that looks like a newspaper.

We ordered a glass of red wine each and Paulo ordered one Pizza Tom Wesselmann (tomato sauce, roasted zucchini with basil, slices of garlic and sun-dried tomatoes) and I ordered the Madonna Vegan Pizza (tomato sauce, vegan mozzarella, fresh spinach, candied onions, roasted pepper mix, black olives, cherry tomatoes and arugula).

For dessert, we ordered a sorbet (non-dairy ice cream) of green apple to share, which was the only vegan dessert option on the menu. We left there super satisfied with our dinner and left happy to walk through the streets of downtown Porto before heading back to the Hotel where we were staying.
